If a traineeship or apprenticeship is something that you are only now thinking about then you need to consider your interests, the skills you have or new skills that you would like to learn. Make a plan to help you to focus your ideas and the possible pathways.
If you are still attending school speak with your teachers about what might be possible. If you have left school attend college open days and information sessions to gain information about what might be possible. Speaking with family and friends could also provide links to information about how you can move into an apprenticeship or traineeship. In making a decision you need to think about your ADHD and what impact it may have on your decision regarding the field you choose. Set goals for yourself to further help you focus on this transition pathway.
