My Morning Routine – Child

The morning routine will set the tone for your child’s day. Keep it calm, keep it simple. Having a structure in place will help your child understand what is required and it will build their independence in managing this aspect of their life for their teen and adult years. The following is an example of a morning routine:

1. Get out of bed

2. Get dressed

3. Have breakfast

4. Go to bathroom

5. Wash my face, clean teeth, comb hair

6. Pack my bag

7. Go to early education/school
