My Morning Routine – Adult

Households are busy in the morning and having a structure in place will help to manage what is required. If you have a family, having your routine established will assist you to manage your family and yourself better. If you have a significant disability you may need another adult to assist you with some aspects of this routine. Consider the following as starting points for your morning routine:

1. Get out of bed

2. Go to the bathroom have a shower

3. Get dressed

4. Assist any family members who require help

5. Have breakfast

6. Go back to bathroom

7. Wash my face, clean teeth, comb hair

8. Gather what is required to go to work

9. Organise other family members if required

10. Travel to work
