Organising My Day – Teenager

Teenagers may require help initially to organise their day but they should take responsibility as soon as possible. If your teen has a significant disability they will require you to continue to assist with the structure of the day but encourage them to take as much responsibility as possible.  A weekday will be organised differently in comparison to the weekend. Consider the following to assist you:

1. Get up and undertake morning routine

2. Prepare for school

3. Travel to school

4. Attend my lessons

5. Go home when the day is finished

6. Complete any homework required

7. Undertake evening routine

8. Go to bed
